The Role
The systems team requires an enthusiastic individual who can work as part of a team, supporting users of key Information Systems in Children's and Adults Services. The position will sit within the systems team but will work closely with the wider organisation and external partners to provide on-site resolution and helpdesk support.

This post will play a vital role in our continual development of information systems. You’ll join the team at an exciting time when the service is seeking to develop its existing systems as we look to better meet the needs of the department.

As a Systems Support Officer you will provide on-site resolution, liaise with ICT, 3rd party software suppliers and educational providers and ensure advice, training and support is provided effectively and efficiently.

About You
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic person with a demonstrable understanding of information management, a positive “can do” approach to your work and excellent all-round IT and communication skills. You will need great attention to detail and the ability to problem solve in a systems environment in order to provide support, training and advice to managers and staff in the development and use of our information systems.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work across multiple systems and be able to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.

Through your application and interview we encourage you to provide brief examples of the experience you will bring to the role.
