Job Purpose

Systems Engineering - Process and Governance. Senior Systems Engineers are required for an international Defence and Weapons Systems Company that is expanding their team. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available. Salary and seniority depend on skills and experience. The Senior Systems Engineer will be part of the delivery team, providing specialist knowledge in engineering processes.

Relocation support packages are available, subject to eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, communicate, and maintain processes supporting the engineering lifecycle.
• Understand and articulate the impact of processes on other areas and the role of governance within and beyond Engineering.
• Ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive, documented correctly, and endorsed.
• Support development of estimates for scope and resources for bids, proposals, and project planning.
• Document domain knowledge and pass on expertise to grow the knowledge base.
• Provide technical guidance and support engineering management in planning activities.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM field.
• Extensive experience in process, governance, and assurance, preferably in defence.
• Familiarity with the engineering lifecycle and relevant phases.
• Strong technical understanding of how work contributes to products or programmes.
