Job summary

Graphcore in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced engineer to help determine whether whole racks of machines are production-ready. You will measure, evaluate, and design workloads on large Linux clusters, build execution systems, and interpret results to guide decisions.

The role offers exposure to infrastructure across clusters and distributed workloads, with room to specialise within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience across multiple projects.
• Experience with Linux-based systems, ideally distributed or HPC.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD systems.
• Ability to design, implement and run experiments producing meaningful results.
• Ability to interpret results and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Expand measurement coverage from small clusters to full racks.
• Design workloads that expose system behaviour.
• Build systems to run experiments across large clusters.
• Interpret results and define what good enough looks like.
