Thales UK is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a safety-critical development environment in Crawley. You will lead requirements capture, MBSE-driven design, and IVVQ activities across complex radar/EW domains. A strong lifecycle background and security clearance are essential for success.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, with opportunities to influence multiple programmes and advance technical leadership within a global defence technology group.

Formación

• Proven working knowledge of the engineering lifecycle from concept to design to test and update.
• Experience with MBSE methods and tools.
• Proven experience in requirements management using DOORS or Polarion.
• Familiarity with Architecture Frameworks (MODAF, DODAF, TOGAF etc.)

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate that the solution satisfies the customer’s approved operational needs.
• Manage requirements using DOORS.
• Assemble solution elements to evaluate design, behavior and performance.
• Support and undertake IVVQ activities.
• Trade-off analysis, modelling and simulation.
• Produce SE and IVVQ documentation.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering team to design and formalise the solution.
