Job summary

QinetiQ Limited is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Mission Rehearsal and Test & Evaluation teams in the UK. The role offers involvement from concept through deployment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-value solutions for defence testing and training systems.

Based in Bristol or other major UK QinetiQ locations, the role is 37 hours per week with travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering or related technical discipline.
• Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and governance processes.
• Experience delivering engineering projects from concept to implementation.
• Knowledge of systems integration involving hardware, software, communications or infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver systems that support defence testing, evaluation and mission rehearsal activities across multiple technologies.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers and engineering teams to define requirements and architectures.
• Support integration and verification activities and delivery into service.
• The role involves hands-on activities with significant variety and technical challenges.
