Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLC and HMI systems.
• Experience applying systems engineering principles and methodologies.
• Practical experience with system integration processes, tools and technologies.
• Experience integrating software into wider systems.
• Experience working at client sites, including commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of quality management systems, technical processes and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with clients.
• Ability to take ownership of technical work and guide less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures, designs and detailed specifications to meet client requirements.
• Translate client needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Integrate subsystems and components for reliability and performance.
• Plan and carry out system testing and validation.
• Lead commissioning activities at client sites and resolve technical issues.
• Create and review technical documentation, requirements, designs, test plans and manuals.
• Define procurement requirements and select appropriate components.
• Lead technical discussions and peer reviews throughout project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
