Job summary

Expert Employment is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration and delivery of complex engineering products within a highly technical environment in the United Kingdom.

The role involves working across software, mechanical and electrical disciplines, producing technical proposals and reports, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure delivery of work packages on time, cost and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in systems design, integration and test.
• Understanding of product and systems lifecycles.
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing capability.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and test systems and subsystems.
• Support full product lifecycle from concept through to in-service support.
• Collaborate across software, mechanical, and electrical teams.
• Produce proposals, specifications, and reports for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers as needed.
• Deliver engineering work packages on time, within budget and to quality.
