The Role Day-to-day, you will lead the through-life technical delivery and systems engineering activity for projects or work package developments that underpin Test, Trials, Training and Evaluation (T3E) activity at our BUTEC site. You will largely work on projects that draw on existing technical expertise, whilst broadening your systems engineering competencies and personal leadership skills. As a senior engineer there is scope to develop either deeper Subject Matter Expertise, System or Platform specialism and or Technical leadership and Systems skills. You will work in conjunction with the project manager and lead multi-disciplinary teams on projects with support of broader technical community and contribute to development of best practice and growth of capability around you, mentoring and learning from others. This role is 37 hours per week based at our Kyle of Lochalsh site. BUTEC BUTEC (British Underwater Test & Evaluation Centre) is a specialised facility focused on underwater testing and evaluation. It supports the development and assessment of various maritime systems including submarines, autonomous underwater vehicles and naval munitions.
