Job summary

Lynx Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership across complex engineering projects in a highly regulated environment. You will own systems engineering delivery, ensuring technical assurance, solving complex problems and mentoring other engineers.

Desirable candidates will have experience leading technical reviews and a strong understanding of lifecycle processes and governance.

Qualifications

• Must have strong systems engineering experience in complex projects within regulated environments.
• Experience with requirements management, systems architecture, interfaces and systems integration.
• Background in verification, validation and acceptance processes.
• Familiarity with DOORS, Jama, SysML, UML or equivalent tools.
• Ability to lead technical/design reviews and assurance activities.
• Understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes and governance.
• Ability to work across multiple disciplines and engage with clients, suppliers and project teams.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring.

What You'll Need

• Strong experience as a Systems Engineer within complex engineering projects
• Experience across requirements management, systems architecture, interfaces and systems integration
• Strong background in verification, validation and acceptance
• Experience with DOORS, Jama, SysML, UML or equivalent
• Confident leading technical/design reviews and assurance activities
• Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes and engineering governance
• Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines and engage with clients, suppliers and project teams
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring

Desirable: Nuclear or highly regulated industry experience, SC/DV clearance, CEng/IEng, INCOSE certification and MBSE experience
