What you’ll be doing

As the Senior Data Engineer, you will:

• Work alongside colleagues within Insurance Money Services.
• Be hands on with the development of Database Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Database development, ETL and Batch on our core Insurance Platform.
• Ensure reliable system operations, using implementation of telemetry, monitoring and response for live services,
• Maintain and work against medium to long-term plans to improve automated Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines,
• Support and develop the capability of engineers across the Data Practise to create positive outcomes for end users,
• Improve quality, feedback loops and boost productivity across teams in Agile Value Stream
• Contribute to embedding an agile mindset and approach focused on improving outcomes.

We need you to have

• Oracle and/or PostgreSQL development experience
• CI/CD experience, Jenkins or similar
• Python or similar scripting language
