The Guinness Partnership is seeking two Senior Systems Developers to join our IT and Business Change team based in Oldham. The role is a full-time, 35 hours per week, with a hybrid pattern: 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

You will design, develop, configure, test and document Dynamics 365 solutions, focusing on CRM and Field Services, and you will work across Azure, Power Platform and related technologies.

• Proven professional experience in development, programming, and integration of Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Strong grasp of multiple programming languages and software development practices.
• Experience with ERP/CRM tech stacks and Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with delivery approaches such as Waterfall, Agile, DevOps.

Job Description

The Guinness Partnership is looking for 2 Senior Systems Developers with a Dynamics 365 skillset to join the IT and Business Change team at our Oldham office on a full time, 35 hours per week permanent basis. We currently operate a hybrid working pattern where you will work 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remotely.

About The Role

You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Which includes design, coding, configuration, installation, testing, and documentation of applications that support business operations, as well as resolving technically complex or business-critical issues to ensure high-quality solutions are consistently delivered.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking highly skilled Senior Systems Developers with excellent communication skills, capable of building strong and effective working relationships across the organisation.

This position will focus on our Microsoft Dynamics 365 system (specifically CRM and Field Services). The successful candidate will have significant commercial experience in this area in configuring, extending and supporting the product.

You will also be able to demonstrate these essential skills:

• Proven professional experience in development, programming, and integration of Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Extensive experience across one or more languages such as SQL, .NET, HTML, Java, XML, C++, C#, PHP, Python, etc.
• Broad experience with a range of technology solutions, including ERP, CRM, ESB, Azure, Cloud, AI, IoT, RPA, etc.
• Experience with one or more software or technical development delivery approaches such as Waterfall, SDLC, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, etc.
• Experience in analysing business requirements, documenting system design, developing code, unit testing, and deployment.
• Experience delivering within structured development approaches such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent tools.
• Some experience or awareness of technology platforms such as Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, SQL Server (including SSIS or SSRS), and Azure.
• Proven people management experience.
• A willingness to learn new technologies, platforms, and programming languages while in the role.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and issue resolution skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Essential Qualifications

• Educated to Level 2 (GCSE grade C+ or 9-4, or equivalent).

Desirable Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in an IT/STEM related degree discipline or equivalent.
• IT systems development certifications in Microsoft D365 CRM, Azure Integration Services etc.
• APM / Prince2 / Agile Practitioner / Certified Scrum Master / equivalent.
