We're looking for a Senior Systems Developer to join our Pensions department.
About the Department/Role
The Church of England Pensions Board (“the Pensions Board”) is a statutory body which is the corporate trustee and administrator of defined benefit (final salary, hybrid, and CARE) and defined contribution pension arrangements. We are the trustee and administrator of 3 major pension schemes: the Church of England Funded Pension Scheme, Church Workers Pension Fund, and Church Administrators Pensions Fund. We also administer the Clergy Pension Measures and Church Commissioners Superannuation Scheme on behalf of the Church Commissioners. Additionally, we manage two charitable schemes to assist retired clergy and their dependants in financial need. The schemes serve over 44,000 members, pensioners, and beneficiaries.
What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for maintaining, designing, and developing scheme calculations within our pension administration system, Universal Pensions Management (UPM2).
This is a remote role.
To be successful, you will need:
- Experience with database and workflow management applications
- Experience with modern pension administration systems, including UPM2 and calculation development
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL
- Experience with Javascript, C++, or C#

Your Salary
- A salary of up to £75,000 per annum, plus pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will match your pension contributions up to an additional 3%.
