Job summary

WSP in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Systems Consultant to deliver high-impact programmes for transport clients and government agencies. You will join a team providing systems engineering consultancy through the full lifecycle with strong client engagement and risk-based assurance.

The role emphasizes requirements management, hazard analysis, verification and validation, and applying INCOSE competencies.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with systems thinking and assurance practices (requirements management, hazard analysis, verification & validation).
• Experience leading systems assurance activities on sizeable projects with client-facing delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and assurance consultancy for design, integration and operation of complex control room environments.
• Lead development of strategic advice, technical specifications, solution architecture and test assurance for complex systems programmes.
• Articulate benefits of a systems engineering approach to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with clients and suppliers across disciplines and supply chains.
• Balance structured processes with flexible systems thinking to adapt to project needs.
• Work independently in client-facing environments, defining project requirements and solving problems.
