Job summary

Spectrum IT is seeking a Senior Principal System Architect to provide technical leadership across high-performance technology projects. You will shape product architectures across software, FPGA and ASIC domains, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions and guiding engineering teams.

You will engage with customers and partners, perform system-level trade-offs, and define interfaces and deployment approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex signal-processing or communications products.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Strong customer facing communication skills.
• Experience with hardware/software partitioning and interfaces.
• Familiarity with 3GPP standards (5G NR or LTE).

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural development across complex products and IP.
• Define system architectures including hardware/software partitioning and interfaces.
• Lead trade-offs across performance, throughput, latency, resources and power.
• Provide technical direction on requirements, decomposition, modelling and verification.
• Guide implementation decisions across software, FPGA and ASIC platforms.
• Lead customer technical discussions and feasibility studies.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical standards.
