Are you an experienced access management professional seeking a new challenge? Our Systems Administration team in Wolverhampton is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to provide high-quality administration, user-access, and system configuration services. You will conduct system audits, participate in project meetings, and lead the team towards its objectives. This role offers an opportunity to enhance processes and take on a challenging position.

This is a fixed-term contract (FTC) for 12 months, based at Wolverhampton or Chatham.

What you will be doing

You will oversee the administration of critical systems, ensuring high-quality user access and configuration services. The role involves managing a team of System Administrators under the Head of IT Service Management.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing the System Administrators team, including task allocation and personal development.
  • Providing second-line advice and support for critical business systems, handling incidents and service requests.
  • Maintaining documentation on system procedures and configurations.
  • Configuring and maintaining core applications as per Service Level Agreements, including user setup and access permissions.
  • Escalating and triaging major incidents, collaborating with subject matter experts.
  • Ensuring team compliance with SLAs.

In return for your commitment

We offer a salary between £34,000 - £40,000, plus benefits such as:
