Senior System Reliability Engineer, Europe

ICE Group Client’s search-driven data analytics solution is used by some of the world’s most successful companies. Users can now get answers from their data through an intuitive search interface, returning answers and charts in seconds even from hundreds of terabytes of data.

Join an exceptionally strong engineering team from companies such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Microsoft. We’re seeking a well-rounded Linux-oriented Sr. Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a passion for working on complex systems. You’ll need good communication skills as well as technical skills, working hard to maximize customer satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for monitoring cluster health and ensuring services are always available in a cross-functional team environment. You will participate in 24/7 support on a rotational basis. Responsibilities may include writing tools and scripts to resolve customer issues and improve support infrastructure. You’ll also help build out our European support team.

Skill Set (Requirements):

• At least 10 years of relevant experience with strong hands-on Linux system administration.
• Background with distributed systems, databases, and performance analysis.
• Excellent scripting skills for debugging and automation (Python knowledge is a strong plus).
• Some server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• A drive to perform at the highest level and be one of the best.
