Job description
Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with hands-on Cisco Meraki experience looking to join a growing IT team in Bridgend?
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of IT projects, leading and participating in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, as well as mentoring and coaching junior team members.
- Manage and optimize Cisco Meraki network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, APs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, supporting the 1st and 2nd line teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams on infrastructure upgrades, rollouts, and automation.
- Maintain documentation and change control procedures.
- Coach and mentor junior members to develop their skills and careers.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki technologies (firewalls, switches, wireless).
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks like ITIL or ISO-27001.
- Solid knowledge of Office 365, Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint, and Teams.
