Job description

Are you an experienced Systems Engineer with hands-on Cisco-Meraki experience looking to join a growing IT team in Bridgend?

You'll be responsible for managing the delivery of IT projects, leading and participating in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems as well as mentoring and coaching junior team members.

What you'll be doing day to day…

1. Manage and optimize Cisco Meraki network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, APs)
2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing support to the 1st and 2nd line teams
3. Collaborate with internal teams on infrastructure upgrades, rollouts, and automation
4. Maintain documentation and change control procedures
5. Coach and mentor junior members, ensuring them to develop their skills and careers

About you…

1. You will have strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki technologies (firewalls, switches, and wireless)
2. You will have strong troubleshooting skills
3. You will be familiar with IT service management frameworks like ITIL or ISO-27001
4. You will have solid knowledge of Office 365, Azure, Entra ID, SharePoint, and Teams
