Job title: Senior Sustainable Sourcing Manager (maternity cover)

Salary: GBP40,121.60 per annum (Non-negotiable)

Location: London, E1 (Flexible hybrid of office working and work from home)

Contract/Hours: Part-time (28 hours per week, 0.8 FTE), Fixed-term (August 2025 September 2026)

Fairtrade Foundation are recruiting for a Senior Sustainable Sourcing Manager to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability initiatives within UK Fairtrade flowers supply chains.

The successful candidate will lead engagement with UK Fairtrade flower stakeholders, account manage key traders, and provide commodity and supply chain expertise and insights both to internal and external stakeholders. They will work in close partnership with the global Fairtrade movement - Fairtrade International and Producer Networks - to deliver an integrated global strategy that achieves positive change for producers and achieve Fairtrade growth targets.

What the role entails:

Develop and lead the implementation of a UK commodity plan for Fairtrade flowers to increase impact for producers and support Fairtrade strategic and income goals.

Account manage key flower traders both in the UK and Europe

Manage key relationships in UK flower supply chains, including intermediaries serving retail, brands, and civil society organizations.

Manage key human rights and environmental risks in UK Flower supply chain

Provide commodity and supply chain expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate closely with Fairtrade International and Producer Networks to

Act as an ambassador for the organisation on Fairtrade and sustainable supply chains
