This role involves managing responsible business (RB) activities within the technology and manufacturing business unit (BU), supporting work winning and delivery of Mace's 2030 business plan and responsible business strategy. Projects are based in London, with site-based days expected.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Delivering purpose-led and measurable outcomes on projects.
  • Ensuring all targets (legal, client, and Mace) are met.
  • Maintaining legal compliance, legislation adherence, and following the Mace Way.
  • Contributing to the 2030 Mace business plan KPIs and targets.
  • Engaging with clients and market needs to evolve competencies.
  • Regular client and consultant engagement, including weekly site inspections and monthly KPI reporting.
  • Ensuring data quality and driving insights for improved outcomes.
  • Measuring and tracking innovation and delivering meaningful outcomes.
  • Managing tasks and delegating onsite support.
  • Managing green certifications like LEED and BREEAM.
  • Supporting bid processes for the construction BU, exceeding client expectations while ensuring deliverability.

You’ll need to have:
  • A relevant degree and membership of an environmental or sustainability body.
  • Proven sustainability work experience of over 4 years.
  • Knowledge of the construction process.
  • Ability to translate technical topics into understandable language.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage yourself effectively.
