The role

This role requires an experienced responsible business (RB) sustainability ESG professional with global consultancy and/or in-house experience. It demands senior stakeholder management, passion, and expertise in embedding sustainability and ESG within large organizations. The successful candidate will define and implement RB and ESG best practices, engage stakeholders, and drive operational and strategic ESG improvements.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Refine and implement RB and ESG strategies, lead operational ESG change, and oversee external ESG reporting.
• Develop sector-leading ESG reports, organize updates for senior management, and stay ahead of stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with global RB and pro bono teams to support innovation and best practices.
• Develop and refine policies, manage ESG data, and support measurement and evaluation of programs.
• Raise awareness internally, develop training materials, and support external ESG platforms.
• Coordinate with risk and compliance teams on sustainability data and initiatives.
• Work with communication teams to showcase ESG commitments and impacts, and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Stay updated on ESG developments to enhance firm performance and leverage insights for impact.

About you

• Proven leader in responsible business and ESG strategy development and implementation, preferably in professional services.
• Experience managing high-profile ESG projects, with knowledge of sector-specific focus areas such as pro bono, social mobility, human rights, etc.
• Expertise in ESG reporting, impact measurement, and data management using technology.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Innovative, strategic thinker with a collaborative approach and ability to handle demanding workloads.
• Relevant qualifications in environment management, sustainability, business, or related fields.
