Job summary
Hoare Lea is seeking a Sustainability Consultant or Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our team in Bristol, Plymouth, or Exeter. You’ll focus on whole life carbon and circular economy within the built environment, developing site-specific appraisals and leading client workshops to agree targets.
You will also contribute to environmental and wellbeing assessments (BREEAM, WELL) and help advance our technical excellence, collaborating with design teams and authorities to push sustainability
Qualifications
- Experience in sustainability consultancy for built environment projects.
- Degree in engineering or science with a sustainability focus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Driven by delivering sustainable design outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in whole life carbon assessments for built projects.
- Develop site-specific whole life carbon appraisals using in-house tools and OneClick LCA.
- Lead workshops with design teams and clients to set and achieve carbon targets.
- Lead workshops with contractors and authorities on carbon strategies and monitoring.
- Support and lead in-house technical excellence communities to advance knowledge.
