Senior Sustainability Consultant (Energy)

About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our London Sustainability Team, part of our Global Sustainability Group. You will report to the UK Sustainability Lead, supporting and leading projects, engaging in business development, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability components of projects, applying deep technical knowledge, especially in design and construction projects, including large and complex projects.
• Focus on energy modelling, including Part L, EPC, NABERS, TM54, with proficiency in IES VE. Skills in Grasshopper and Rhino PlugIns are desirable.
• Build and enhance client relationships, secure new work, and participate in marketing activities.
• Manage project involvement to ensure timely and efficient completion, meeting client needs.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and deliverables.
• Represent NDY in meetings discussing client issues, proposals, and opportunities.
• Contribute to research and development within your technical expertise.
• Plan and coordinate resources across projects to meet deadlines and budgets.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience across the project lifecycle.
• Strong technical skills in energy modelling and a desire to innovate services.
• Desirable experience in BREEAM, carbon assessments, WELL, and planning documentation.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, across disciplines.
• Proven leadership and change management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
