Job description

A leading Energy and sustainability consultancy has a key requirement for an experienced / senior sustainability consultant to join a team of 30 plus sustainability and energy consultants, ranging in experience.

The Sustainability Team specialises in working with a range of construction contractors and businesses in measuring, managing, and working towards net zero, energy reduction, managing carbon emissions, and energy consumption.

The senior / lead sustainability consultant will be responsible for:

1. Reviewing energy performance data
2. Auditing buildings, energy and carbon use, and waste; identifying and recommending solutions
3. Creating decarbonisation roadmaps
4. Reviewing building installation and upgrade projects to advise on sustainability and make recommendations
5. Offering training and mentoring junior team members
6. Having 5+ years of experience within sustainability, energy strategy, and carbon capture, particularly within the public sector on commercial projects
7. Being chartered or holding membership of CIBSE, IEMA, IEE, EPC, ESOS, or DEC
8. Being a team player

This is a hybrid position, open to candidates living near main cities in the UK.

Salary and package: Basic salary circa £60k - £65k, plus car allowance, plus a company contribution pension of 5%, and health insurance.
