We are working with one of the UK’s leading construction and infrastructure companies to deliver a multimillion-pound scheme in Bridgwater. This high-profile project is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and skilled team. As a Site Agent, you will play a crucial role in shaping its successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:In this pivotal position, you will be expected to:

  • Lead and Oversee Project Delivery:Plan, manage, and execute all site activities in line with project requirements.
  • Health & Safety Compliance:Monitor and enforce adherence to Health & Safety policies, driving a safety-first culture on-site.
  • Quality Control:Ensure that all works are carried out to the required specifications and standards.
  • Team Collaboration:Foster strong relationships and promote a “one-team” ethos across different divisions and subcontractors.
  • Financial Accountability:Take full responsibility for the project’s profit and loss, maintaining strict control of target costs and managing actual costs incurred.

What Are We Looking For?The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of2 years’ experiencein a Site Agent role or Sub agent role, ideally withinheavy civils or marineprojects.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent commercial and contractual awareness.
  • A relevantCivil Engineering qualification(e.g., HND, Degree, or equivalent).
  • A track record of delivering large-scale projects to a high standard.
