Job summary

The University of Nottingham is seeking an Environmental Sustainability professional to lead a portfolio of initiatives across its Estates and Facilities remit. You will drive improvements in environmental performance, assist with regulatory compliance and help embed sustainability across campus operations.

Candidates should hold a degree in a relevant environmental subject with related experience and demonstrable knowledge of environmental management systems, strategy, policy and legislation.

Qualifications

• Degree level in a relevant environmental subject with some relevant experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrable experience of environmental management systems and their operations within an organisation.
• Knowledge and understanding of government strategy, policy and legislation relating to the field.
• Passion for sustainability with a proactive approach, strong relationship-building skills and a willingness to learn and develop.
