Job description

Position: To manage and lead the delivery of sustainable building services solutions on individual projects; to be a proactive member of the sustainability team; to contribute to the resource allocation of sustainability requirements as project work demands; contribute to the development of the sustainability team with marketing and fee bids and keeping up to date with current Legislation and Planning Policies. This position can be based in one of our clients numerous UK offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Warrington, Aberdeen, or Glasgow.

Responsibilities:
  1. Delivery of Energy Strategies for Planning Applications
  2. Lodgement of SAP calculations
  3. Lodgement of non-domestic and domestic EPCs
  4. Delivery of Sustainability Statements for Planning Applications
  5. Knowledge of BREEAM / WELL
  6. Knowledge of Home Quality Mark (HQM)
  7. Thermal modelling to Level 5 (preferred)
  8. Knowledge of façade performance and U-value calculations
  9. Knowledge of Energy Auditing and Assessment
  10. Knowledge of daylight calculations
  11. Input into fee proposals
Requirements (essential):
  1. Educated to degree level in related discipline
  2. Knowledge of residential and non-residential energy modelling
  3. BREEAM Assessor
  4. Presentation skills
  5. Ensure that the Quality System procedures are adhered to
  6. Responsible attitude and actively undertake training
  7. Lead external workshops and design team meetings
Requirements (desirable):
  1. Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical design
  2. Knowledge of RIBA stages of work
  3. Chartership
  4. Level 5 IES thermal modelling accreditation
  5. BREEAM / WELL AP
  6. Knowledge of BSRIA scope of works
