Job description

We are looking for Senior Surveyors to join the team inone of the offices in Sweden or United Kingdom.

What you will do:

  • Ensure that the operations are carried out according to companyprocedures and as specified in the contract;
  • Assure data quality during the survey operations;
  • Monitor and control the survey equipment during the survey and ensure a safe and correct handling of the survey equipment;
  • Perform calibrations, and systems check prior to the survey operations;
  • Be responsible for the Acceptance Test Report, Inspection and Test Plan and Operations Report;
  • Optimize and improve survey setups and methods;
  • Manage and educate Trainee Remote Survey Operators
  • Assist with technical and operational advice to survey contractors, on-site representatives, and the project team;
  • Assist the RSC Manager in compiling daily progress reports;
  • Assist the project managers in compiling and QC of project manuals;
  • Take active part in HSE events such SJA, HIRA, HAZID, and HAZOP;
  • Update operational procedures;
  • Participate in the daily meetings with the management and clients;
  • Document any offshore deviation from scope of work;
  • Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues;
  • Monitor, measure, and report on HSE issues;
  • Continuous communication with the processing department.

Who you are:

  • 5 + years’ experience of offshore survey;
  • BSc. degree in e.g. Hydrographic Surveying or Geodetic Surveying;
  • Experience in calibration and verification of survey sensors for surface and subsea positioning;
  • Good at problem solving and tracking technical challenges;
  • Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work;
  • Ability to work as a trusted advisor with senior stakeholders;
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Open and receptive to new and different ideas;
  • Good practical experience with office tools: MS Office, Teams etc.;
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
