This role involves working within a partner-led team managing a high-profile portfolio of Central London assets for our KFIM clients. Responsibilities include servicing and managing high-profile clients, maintaining a professional profile, and fostering client relationships.

About the Role:

Based at our Global HQ at Baker Street, the Property Asset Management department seeks a Senior Surveyor for the Central London Team. We specialize in managing prestigious Central London assets for diverse clients, including many overseas clients. Our team leads in advising on developments in commercial management, focusing on property and facilities management, customer experience, ESG, and financial integrity.

The role's success depends on delivering core property management services effectively, building on client relationships to exceed expectations and expand mandates.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality, and trust with clients to uphold the professional image of the partnership.
  • Provide high-quality day-to-day property and asset management for large Central London buildings.
  • Coordinate with the client accounting team on budgets, reconciliations, and reports.
  • Work with Facilities Managers on budgeting, expenditure monitoring, and reporting.
  • Instruct and liaise with Facilities Managers, Building Managers, and consultants regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular property inspections.
  • Manage rent collections, service charges, and landlord-tenant relationships.
  • Ensure timely and professional client reporting and manage expectations.
  • Understand landlord and tenant matters and pursue asset management opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure efficient business management.
  • Develop sound business knowledge and awareness of market competition.
  • Perform additional tasks as delegated by the Partner in charge.
Team:

Collaborate with other departments and work cohesively within the property asset management team.

Experience Required:
  • MRICS qualification preferred.
  • 1-2 years post-qualified experience with a Commercial Property Management team.
Career Experience:
  • Experience managing various asset classes in Central London.
  • Landlord and tenant experience is beneficial.
Skills and Aptitudes:
  • Ability to work within a committed London team and property asset management department.
  • Enthusiasm for delivering first-class property management services.
  • Solution-oriented approach and ability to motivate and direct others.
