Job description

Our client is one of the largest and most respected property consultancies and surveying advisory firms in the UK, with offices across England and Wales, employing over 900 partners and staff. They have a leading infrastructures team comprising surveyors, valuers, environmental specialists, project managers, and town planners, providing independent advice on infrastructure projects to help clients capitalize on property opportunities.

They are seeking a Senior Surveyor or Associate Surveyor with Telecoms surveying experience to join any of their key UK offices due to growth.

The Role:

Join a specialized team advising land and property owners on complex property matters across the UK. This role offers opportunities for career growth within a leading infrastructure consultancy, supporting multidisciplinary teams in Rural, Commercial, Planning & Development, and Residential sectors.

Responsibilities include negotiating Code agreements, advising on development and termination strategies, rent reviews, portfolio access, inspections, and supporting valuations or expert reports. You can also develop your client base or specialize in an area of interest, building strong relationships with clients, solicitors, and colleagues.

Main Tasks:

  • Negotiating heads of terms for new and renewal Code agreements.
  • Managing lease transactional events such as rent reviews, assignments, or consents.
  • Handling client portfolio matters, resolving access issues, disputes, and improving performance.
  • Providing valuation advice for internal purposes.
  • Attending client meetings and site inspections, both in person and virtually.
  • Line management and mentoring junior surveyors.
  • Developing relationships with clients, solicitors, and colleagues, and exploring new opportunities.

What it takes to be successful:

  • Member of RICS or RICS Registered Valuer preferred, or willingness to achieve accreditation.
  • Experience in general practice, infrastructure, planning & development, or commercial property surveying.
  • Extensive post-qualification experience in telecoms property is highly desirable.
  • Client-focused approach, delivering high-quality advice.
  • Knowledge of the Electronic Communications Code, Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, valuation principles.
  • Ability to manage caseloads, maintain records, and understand financial metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Professional engagement with clients and agents.
  • Full UK driving license.
