Job description

Job Title: Senior Surveyor / Associate Director

Department: Corporate Advisory Services

Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh

Background: The Corporate Services team at LSH advises large corporate occupiers including The BBC, Nationwide Building Society, Hovis, and Atkins. You will be part of a 20+ team providing advice and assistance to clients, instructing other surveyors within LSH and third parties. The work is diverse in terms of geographical spread and property types. You will advise clients on their portfolios.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing client relationships and supporting service delivery.
  2. Ensuring continuity of service.
  3. Advising on property matters.
  4. Instructing and monitoring other surveyors through to completion.
  5. Reporting to clients and liaising with solicitors and landlords.
  6. Maintaining property data on internal systems.
  7. Managing reporting and responding to information requests.
  8. Assisting in budgeting and financial requests.
  9. KPI Reporting and Monthly Reporting: Collating information from colleagues and providing monthly updates.
  10. Service Charges and Insurance: Checking landlord service charge budgets, reconciliations, and insurance demands; approving invoices.
  11. Travel: Attending monthly meetings and traveling across the UK as necessary.
Skills:
  1. Ability to manage colleagues and report to clients.
  2. Good interpersonal, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  3. Proficiency in Excel and Word.
