We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Surveyor / Engineer to play a key role in delivering the surveying strategy for Transfer and Decommissioning works at Dungeness Nuclear Power Station. You will be responsible for establishing and implementing the surveying plan, managing CAD requirements, and coordinating team tasks to ensure efficient and accurate delivery within project timelines and budgets; and overseeing the end-to-end CAD production process, ensuring that all drawing mark-ups are effectively communicated between engineering teams, reviewed, approved, and submitted to the client in line with project requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of building and infrastructure surveying.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD) software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements in the nuclear industry, with the ability to apply appropriate control measures.
  • Degree in Geodetic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in producing CAD outputs for building and infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience of Geodetic Engineering surveying / completing CAD output for buildings and infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing

  • Take responsibility for planning, monitoring, and efficiently managing all surveying and CAD operations and programmes.
  • Lead compliance efforts with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
  • Ensure all survey data is compiled, reviewed, and recorded in line with company systems and procedures.
  • Identify programme deficiencies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure all project team members receive relevant information and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Develop a Survey/CAD programme aligned with the overall project schedule, in coordination with the Contract Manager.
  • Conduct regular reviews of project progress and implement any required improvements promptly.
  • Provide budget estimates to support tender cost plans.
  • Review and maintain up-to-date CAD software and systems, recommending updates and improvements.
  • Mobilise and efficiently utilise company resources to complete survey work within budget, on schedule, and to the required standards.
