Senior Surveyor - Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs)
Location: North Northamptonshire (Hybrid - site visits required, remote work available)
Rate: £35-£40 per hour (flexible, depending on experience)
Contract Type: Short to Medium-Term Assignment
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to support our Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) Team in delivering essential services to residents. This is a flexible, impactful role ideal for someone with a strong background in housing adaptations and local authority work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct home visits to assess and survey properties
• Prepare technical schedules of work, specifications, and scaled drawings using AutoCAD
• Develop tender packages and obtain quotations from approved contractors
• Coordinate and submit applications for planning permission, building regulations, and party wall agreements where applicable

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience delivering DFGs
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing preparation
• Strong understanding of planning and building regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
• Previous experience working within a local authority setting is highly desirable

Workload & Flexibility:

• 5-10 surveys per month
• Site visits are required, but the remainder of the work can be completed remotely
• Flexible working pattern available
