Job summary

Chattyvets is seeking an experienced, surgery-focused Veterinary Surgeon to join our award-winning team at a premier small animal hospital on the West Midlands fringe. The successful clinician will handle complex soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries and work within a 19-vet practice supported by extensive imaging and in-house diagnostics.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration required.
• Proficient in routine and advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries.
• Currently holding or pursuing a postgraduate surgical certificate.
• Ability to mentor team members and communicate treatment plans clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries independently.
• Provide high standards of surgical care and client communication.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practice in surgical workflows.
