Job summary

Qualifications

• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) and formal management training.
• Experience delivering against performance targets in NHS/acute settings.
• Budget management and financial monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of designated services within the Division (General Surgery, Colorectal, Upper GI, Breast, Urology and Vascular).
• Direct line management of admin/support staff and oversight of a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver access, activity and quality targets; manage budgets and staffing.
• Oversee waiting lists, patient pathways, clinics and theatre utilisation.
• Contribute to business planning, development and financial recovery.
• Participate in divisional rota coverage to support site flow.
