Job description

Our Physiotherapy team at Basildon Hospital is looking to recruit an experienced band 5 physiotherapist who wishes to progress their career, or an existing band 6 physiotherapist seeking to join a different team.

This role offers an opportunity to develop your leadership, clinical skills, communication, and teamwork, contributing to high-quality, patient-centred care aligned with our Trust values.

This is a static post within the vascular/surgical team.

Please note: Interviews will be held face-to-face only.

We welcome enthusiastic physiotherapists with broad clinical experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join our friendly and supportive team. We promote continuous professional development, research, and quality improvement, supported by a well-established in-service education programme to enhance your clinical and managerial skills under the guidance of senior clinical leads.

Applicants should be prepared to participate in our overnight emergency on-call rota and weekend working, with previous experience in on-call duties or respiratory/critical care fields being essential. The role involves working as part of a seven-day rota and extended hours during some rotations.
