The role
As a Senior Supportability Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating the support solution for the Dreadnought platform across multiple US sites. Your expertise ensures a seamless transition into service, reinforcing the UK’s Continuous at Sea Deterrent and driving operational excellence.
Day-to-day, you’ll lead the delivery of the Dreadnought Common Missile Compartment (CMC) scope of work, playing a key role in developing the support solution for US-procured CMC equipment. You will oversee the transition from the Dreadnought build phase to operational readiness, ensuring proactive risk management and clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders. This role is full time, 35 hours per week You will be seconded for two years to Connecticut, US with occasional travel to Florida and Washington D.C. Upon completion of the secondment you will then be based at one of our sites in either Devonport, Bristol or Clyde.
