TLS consists of everything needed to keep the systems operating effectively throughout life. This project aims to develop a capable, cost effective and sustainable solution, by seeking to influence the early design of the equipment, as well as provide the through-life solution framework. This includes all of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), solution management, continuous improvement, equipment upgrades, spares, repairs, training, supportability, failure prediction, equipment health status monitoring, support solution architecture, knowledge and information management.

  • Establish, capture and maintain supportability related requirements for the TLS services, including those that will impact suppliers, partners and internal product, repair and service development teams
  • Develop the concept and design for the through life support solution, taking input from the product design teams, as well as the other functional subject matter experts (including systems, obsolescence and data)
  • Produce evidence to demonstrate compliance with supportability related requirements Using a variety of analytical techniques and procedures to perform RM&T analysis on integrated systems.
  • Work with the support solution modelling team to evaluate both product and service designs from a supportability perspective, performing trade-off studies and feeding results back in
  • Conduct analysis of historic in-service data from similar platforms to identify areas for future improvement, as well as to inform projections and forecasts, presenting key findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders
  • Provide experience in support of customer and user engagement and producing product roadmaps, supportability plans, processes and formal documentation as required
  • Network across other Leonardo lines of business and actively identifying opportunities for sharing/adopting best practice(in terms of processes, tools or ways of working
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Escalate emerging issues and levels of risk and helping define opportunities and risk mitigation options
  • Mentor, coach and develop more junior members of the team in order to develop overall capability

We would like to hear from you if you have a combination of the following:

  • An understanding of Supportability Engineering principles and standards and how they should be applied across the engineering lifecycle
  • Experience of gathering, analysing and drawing insights from data from a variety of sources and formats
  • Experience of working with different stakeholders to elicit and trade-off competing needs to ensure that the optimum solution is created for through-life requirements
