Who are we looking for:
- Kind and compassionate individuals with a genuine interest and commitment to caring for people with learning, physical disabilities, or mental health issues.
- Dynamic and passionate individuals willing to help those we support lead fulfilled lives, maintaining a high standard of care within our vibrant schemes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
- NVQ Level 3 in Leadership and Management or willingness to work towards it.
- Knowledge of the National Minimum Standards (2000).
- Knowledge of Valuing People / Valuing People Now.
- Knowledge of the Reach Standards.
- Proficient in ICT / Windows Applications.
- Full Driving Licence / Access to Transport with the capacity to travel quickly and cost-effectively within the designated area.
- Experience in delivering social care across different geographical environments.
- Experience supporting projects and initiatives, improving services, and practicing person-centred care.
- Experience in report writing, minute-taking, support planning, and risk assessment.
- Flexibility to work across various support settings as needed.
What will you be doing:
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
- Promoting and delivering person-centred practice.
- Ensuring all aspects of service delivery meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Encouraging client engagement in activities within the organisation and community.
- Participating in the Support2Independence on-call rota.
- Supporting staff supervision, training, and administrative tasks.
- Maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and partners, and communicating effectively with management.
- Contributing to quality service development and upholding the organisation’s vision and values.
- Traveling within operational areas and working flexibly to meet service needs.
- Promoting the personalisation agenda to achieve positive outcomes in health, quality of life, and personal dignity.
