Your main duty as a Senior Support Worker will be to offer vulnerable people—such as those with disabilities, mental health conditions, or chronic illnesses—excellent care and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Offering both practical and emotional support by helping people with everyday duties like cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene
• Team management and leadership: directing and coaching less experienced support staff to guarantee they provide superior care and assistance
• Care Planning and Review: taking part in the creation and evaluation of customised care plans to address each service user’s particular requirements
• Cooperation and communication: ensuring smooth care and support by collaborating closely with families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders

Qualifications and Requirements

• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care: or comparable credentials, including QCF diplomas (a favoured option) or NVQs

Opportunity to Switch Health and Care Visas

In order to qualify, you must:

• Fulfil the wage requirements by earning at least £20,330 annually (based on the Band 3 NHS salary scale) or £22,549 annually (based on the Band 4 NHS salary scale).
• Possess applicable credentials and experience: possess a recognised health and social care credential and have prior support function work experience.
• Fulfil the prerequisites for the English language: exhibit fluency in the English language
