Join Our Team as a Senior Support Worker at Buckshaw Retirement Village!

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our dedicated HICA at Home team at Buckshaw Retirement Village. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to take the next step in their care career and lead by example in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Pay & Hours:
Pay: £12.42 per hour
Hours: 14 hours per week
Schedule: Rota-based across 7 days (weekend availability essential).

About the Role:
As a Senior Home Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our residents and leading a team of Care Support Workers. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, administering medication, and contributing to care plans, assessments, and reviews. You’ll help ensure that every resident receives care that respects their dignity, preferences, and individual needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 / Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
  • Experience in elderly care and a good understanding of clinical care
  • A warm, compassionate approach and a commitment to high standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
