Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Senior Support Worker for a brand-new luxury care home in the Halesowen area, part of the Birmingham region. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, and involves supervising staff, care planning, and supporting residents with quality, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in a care setting is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• A genuine desire to care for others.

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals
• Contribute to care planning and coaching support workers
• Promote the services offered when dealing with relatives, prospective residents and enquiries
• Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
• Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
• Be responsible for administering medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures
