About the Role: As a senior support worker, your duties could involve managing and mentoring a team of support staff, identifying training needs, leading the writing of support plans, rota management, and participating in review meetings. There will also be practical support with the person’s daily life, personal care, or helping to promote a positive, active, and healthy lifestyle to the individual you are supporting. We have 1 position based in Glenrothes/North East Fife & surrounding areas. For all Senior Support Worker roles, we are looking for drivers with access to own vehicles due to the travel requirements of these roles. This vacancy is full time. Senior staff are expected to cover on-call duties (on a rotational basis). As a Senior member of staff, we would expect you to step in and assist with covering shifts. All successful Support Practitioner applicants will be given a conditional offer - this is subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and PVG: having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector.
The successful applicant must also register with SSSC as a Supervisor in Care at Home and Housing Support Services on taking up the post.
