Job summary

Kingsley Specialist Services is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join the care team in providing person-centred support to residents with learning disabilities and complex needs. The role focuses on maintaining daily living skills, dignity, and independence while modelling PBS-based care.

You will supervise staff, contribute to care planning, and support the delivery of high-quality care in a person-centred environment that values wellbeing and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a senior care role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Full UK Driving Licence is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
• Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, as well as supporting care planning.
• Contribute to care planning and coaching of support workers.
• Maintain the personal care needs of residents with dignity and independence.
• Apply PBS values to all care provided to residents.
