You will lead shifts, support care plans, and champion dignity, independence and safe practice within a supportive team with clear development paths and regular training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise, coach and motivate others.
• Commitment to promoting choice, dignity and independence.
• Knowledge of care standards, policies and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support delivery of person-centred care.
• Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers and allocation.
• Ensure residents have person-centred plans and meaningful activities.
• Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development.
• Administer medication safely.
• Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management.
• Complete accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Monitor team performance and address operational issues.
• Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge for safe practice.
