Job summary

The National Autistic Society is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker for Pinecroft, our residential service supporting autistic adults. You will follow individual support plans to promote health, wellbeing, and independence, and help people progress within their daily routines.

Ideal candidates show a positive, proactive approach, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends; driving licence is required. DBS checks will be completed as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Inspiring others with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people.
• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
• Driving licence (minimum one year) is essential.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and sleep‑in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support life skills and independence (budgeting, shopping, meals, room cleaning, travel).
• Record detailed and accurate digital support notes.
