Job Title: Senior Support Worker (Driver preferred)

Location: Colchester

Salary: £13.26 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time)

You will be responsible for inspiring and supporting our dedicated teams to deliver outstanding care services to individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities. Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker
• Full, clean driving license

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide the highest standards of care and support in all aspects of daily life.
• Lead and inspire the team to ensure services are Well-led, Safe, Caring, Effective, and Responsive.
• Support individuals to be active members of their communities, and help them access education, work, and leisure opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records (both electronic and paper-based).
• Complete, review, and update person-centred risk assessments.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being while encouraging positive risk-taking.
• Deliver Person-Centred Active Support practices.
• Promote independence, choice, and dignity in all aspects of care.

Must-Haves:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a care or support role
• Strong IT skills (Word, email)
• Experience supervising staff and managing records
• Good understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and person-centred care
• Passion for enabling people to live fulfilling, independent lives
