We have Senior Support Worker position (as well as a number of Support Worker vacancies) available in the Mickleover/Littleover areas to deliver high standards of care, protection and support to children and young people with learning disabilities and related complex needs by facilitating their physical, psychological, emotional and recreational development.


The children are aged from 10-18 years old who experience emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). You will be responsible for following care plans, supporting young people with their education, and running activities.


As a Senior member of the team, you will also be responsible for organising the team of skilled care workers, planning, and overseeing shifts and taking a lead on the day-to-day activities in the home.


This is a full-time role and you should be available to work shifts across the week (a mix of earlies, lates and some weekends, including some sleep-in shifts as needed).



  • Applicants must have experience of working with children &/or young people (2 years - required) in a residential setting

  • Must be NVQ Level 3 Level 4 Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or QCF Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner qualified

  • Full UK driving licence
