Location: Airdferry Resource Centre, Dornie, Kyle, IV40 8FD

Salary: £29,116 - £31,670 per year

Hours: 37 hours per week

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Skye & Lochalsh Integrated Community Team to be the senior support worker for Airdferry Day Care centre. We have a great Day Care centre that provides social engagement for service users and respite for carers.

Responsibilities

1. Support the other staff to carry out their work and support the service activities.
2. Organise activities and procurement for the service.
3. Manage staff situations on a daily basis.
4. Work closely with the day care services manager.
5. Provide transport support for service users.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience of working with older adults in a health and social care setting who would bring enthusiasm and leadership qualities to the role. This senior position would require excellent organisational skills and very good communication abilities with staff, services, professionals, and the older adults in the service.

Candidates will be willing and able to undertake the required training for service delivery.

Successful applicants will be required to register with the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme and hold a valid driver’s licence.

Experience is desirable but not essential.
