Exciting opportunity within the Skye & Lochalsh Integrated Community Team as a Senior Support Worker at Airdferry Day Care Centre. The centre offers social engagement for service users and respite for carers.
We seek an individual experienced in working with older adults in health and social care, bringing enthusiasm and leadership. The role requires excellent organisational skills and strong communication abilities with staff, professionals, and service users.
The position involves supporting staff, organising activities, procurement, managing daily staff situations, and working closely with the Day Care Services Manager. Transport is vital; we have a driver and mini-bus, and staff may use personal vehicles for transportation.
Applicants should be willing to undertake necessary training and must register with the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme and possess a valid driver’s license. Experience is desirable but not essential.
